
The production process of metal silicon mainly includes the following steps:
1. Silica (sand) and carbon were smelted to 98% in an electric arc furnace to form industrial silicon, which reacted as SiO2 + C → Si + CO2.
2. In order to meet the needs of semiconductor grade high purity, further purification is required. Industrial silicon was pulverized and reacted with anhydrohydrogen Cl (HCl) in a fluidized bed to form trihydrosilicon (SiHCl). The chemical reaction was Si + HCl → SiHCl + H2.
3. On this basis, further purification is required, and after a series of chemical separation and purification processes to remove some electroactive impurities, carbon and transition element impurities, the purity of SiHCl3 can meet the standard requirements of semiconductor grade, and the chemical reaction is SiHCl3 + H2 → Si + HCl.
Through the above process technology, we can produce high pure silicon Si-HCl 3, Si-H2Cl 2 and high pure silicon Si-Cl 4.
